Circulation Fees (Revised July 2011)
Non-Resident Fee $70.00 (convenient approximation)
Annual budget divided by population in taxing district per latest census.
Library Card Replacement $2.00
Interlibrary Loan Free if items are obtained from an Indiana library, $2.00 to cover shipping if items are obtained outside of Indiana.  Patrons can choose not to receive items from outside of Indiana
Public Library Access Card (PLAC) $50.00 for one year (Set annually by the Indiana State Library)
The PLAC Card allows KHCPL patrons to check out materials at other Indiana libraries.
Collection Agency Fee $10.00
Fines
Books, Compact Discs, Cassettes, MP3 Discs, Playaways $.20 per day per item, with a maximum of $4.00 per item if returned.
Videocassettes, CD-ROMs, DVDs, MP3 Players $1.00 per day per item, with a maximum of $10.00 per item if returned.
Item Replacement Price listed on the library record item
Meeting Room Fees
All meeting rooms

For businesses, individuals wanting to use the rooms for private parties, and all other groups that are not non-profit $25 for any part of a one hour period, with a maximum charge per day of $200.
Display Cases / Art Exhibits
Display Case or Art Exhibit If artist/exhibitor intends to sell his work, a fee may be charged. The library's graphic artist and/or director will determine the fee.

Non-card-holding patrons $20 per item (maximum 5 items)
