You’re going to really dig this year’s Summer Reading Club: Dig Into Reading!

Join us at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library's South location (1755 E Center Rd., Kokomo) from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 3, for the GO UNDERGROUND kickoff party. There will be FREE food, games, and fun!

Duke Energy is providing some of the funding for the SRC program. You won’t want to miss Grammy nominee Zak Morgan’s songs that inspire and tickle the funny bones of children and adults.

Is the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club just for kids? No! It’s for teens and adults, too.

A special marketing campaign called GNOME MARKS THE SPOT: FIND THE HIDDEN TREASURES AT KHCPL will be tied into the Summer Reading Club. We have a number of ways you can collect gnomes and win prizes! Kokomantis is getting in on the fun, too!

Thanks to First Farmers Bank & Trust, the EXPLORE THE DEPTHS OF KOKOMO BEACH final party for the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club includes two free hours of swimming at Kokomo Beach from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. It's for Summer Reading Club participants only, so make sure you sign up! 

We Want Your Paperback Books

If you have paperback books written by best-selling authors (including, but not limited to, James Patterson, Stephen King, John Grisham, and Stuart Woods) and no longer want them, please consider donating them to the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library’s Outreach Department. We need them to deliver to the inmates at the Howard County Jail.
